Make a Pack

Custom lootboxes · Product design, 3D, Motion design · Own concept · Gaming and digital brands · Web

One reward moment, designed from brand language to real-time 3D: how opening a pack should feel, live in the browser.

Context

Make a Pack is an independent concept about a single moment, opening a pack. It began as a study of mystery packs for physical collectibles. I then moved it to a digital lootbox with a weapon inside, for gaming, iGaming and digital brands that want custom packs, 3D assets and reveal animations.

Objective

Show how one reward moment can go from brand language and materials to interface, motion and 3D, all the way into a live browser experience.

Process

I explored different concepts and identities before choosing one direction, a hard, industrial case charged with energy, and designed the interface around it. Then the case went into 3D and into the browser in real time, with the opening staged like a short scene that builds tension before the reveal. The landing page went through rounds of feedback before going live, and a second track took the same moment to football, with a booster pack and a player card.

Identity

Dark graphite, silver and orange, lit by violet energy, give the case the look of a heavy object ready to break open. The PACK wordmark comes from the case itself, and rarity climbs from common to legendary.

Outcome

Make a Pack is live at makeapack.online, with the football experience next to the original crate and a set of films and social pieces for the launch.

Figures and testimonials on the landing are demo placeholders.
